  1. In 2005 about 25% of Latino students were dropouts. According to the author a financial benefit that high school graduates enjoy is that they earn $10,000 more a year than those who dropout. Also, according to the author, another advantage that high school graduates have is pride in their accomplishments and their achievements of graduating and through out high school.

  2. Dear 797327 (and others):
Notice how "dropout" as one word is a noun; however, the verb "to drop out" is two words. English is.....???

25% are Latino's dropped outs. That is very upsetting, because Latino's make us seem like we don't care; and just take what ever job's even that they don't like it. The financial benefit that an graduate enjoy is that they earn much more money than a drop out. An advantage in graduating is that they accomplished a complicated goal. They will have a better job and easy. They can support them self without no one teasing them that they will have to get any job; for them they will get hired fast and no problem that they don't have a diploma.
